MOOCs and Open Education is a book that reviews topics regarding open educational resources and massively open online courses (MOOC). New improvements in learning technology are providing the means for humans in all parts of the world to be participants in courses via the Internet. Massively open online courses are ordinarily free but do not consistently lead to formal accreditation. It is a challenge to motivate and engage students in online environments.
